It's like the future, or 1984 at least...


Recently I wrote a not-too-preachy-so-don’t-worry-about-it-it-probably-won’t-offend-you comic for the ACLU’s first venture into the world of comic books. The short story was illustrated by Mark Badger, and was published alongside another story which was written by Jimmy Palmiotti with art by Rick Burchett. The whole neat little package, titled Defenders of Freedom, was topped off with a Cliff Chiang cover and an Art Spiegelman back cover.

The comic itself was released yesterday in a guerilla marketing attempt of sorts to a few select cities, but it’s also now available online here at the ACLU’s website.

Also here’s an article on the topic if you think I’m lying. But keep in mind, you only get two challenges per set.
